Happy Friday!

Weekends are the only time my countdown stops....Once Monday hits, the entire week is a countdown to 6PM Friday. At points it does make me sad that I'm counting my life away, but it cheers me when I'm at T-2:00 & counting to freedom.

Cut my workout short last night because I was feeling off-kilter. I don't want to say I wasn't feeling well, because I was. I was happy, didn't feel sick, just that something was off. Going to chalk it up to crap sleep the night before & the energy drink I had half of to try and counter lack of sleep with. Ended up binge eating once I got home to try and steady myself, which in itself was a chore considering that for all the crap in our freezer, our pantry and fridge is barren.

Spoke to mom about the fact that I sometimes get tired halfway through my 'normal' routeine on the elliptical machine. She seems to think that I should start a snack regiment before hitting the gym, and maybe she's right. Maybe it's because of low blood sugar. Been doing research on pre-workout snack options, and nuts and bananas seem to be the top options....considering implementing this starting this coming week. We'll see.

...been noticing as of late that when I'm at the gym, doing my normal routine on the elliptical machine, I get tired about halfway through, to the point that I need to stop and rest a moment before finishing.

Typically I wouldn't be concerned over this, as I know I'm not in the best of shape, however this is something I've been doing for the last two months or so....I would've expected the fatigue starting out, not this long into it.


Boyfriend seems to think that it's stress related (stressors being things like work and poor sleep). It's temptingly easy to agree with that statement, but I'm not sure how true it is.

In other news, I've been weighing myself every few days or so as I've been adamantly back on my diet (that last weigh-in was uncomfortably close to the 180 mark for me, and I made myself a promise that once I broke barriers [190, 180 etc] that there was no looking back, I'd never be that number again). So far it's looking hopeful. Seen at least a two pound decrease, but I don't want to officially weigh-in until the weekend, as I'd like to keep the weigh-ins constant.
