Down a pound! Have not been here in almost five months. SUPER BUSY! Dad's health took a downturn and we are moving him in with us. Doing well on most other areas of life. I hope everyone else is doing well. I hope to catch up and be back more regularly. Have a great day!

Up 2 pounds! I DID NOT fall off the bandwagon, I just took along foods I really should not be eating. White flour, sugar, goodies....not so good. I have been pretty faithful to exercise and stress control, but what is more upsetting than weight gain is BODY PAIN. So after feeling good for so long, why would I trade that for crappy food? Back on plan. My husband's left knee replacement went as well as the right. His recovery is a tad slower but he is taking an extra week off to recover . I had to deal with a lot of snow removal due to a very early heavy snowfall over the course of two or three days. Our neighbor plowed our long, long driveway and that was a blessing. Good luck to everyone out there with the holidays approaching. Eating is such a pleasure, but it can cause many of us angst as well. Find what works for you and keep the faith! Have a great day!

The days are zipping by! Holding steady at 169. I consider this a good thing, since I celebrated a birthday, a son's FABULOUS wedding, our 40th Wedding Anniversary and out of town guests to have fun and food with! The care giving for the old folks is going pretty well and my husband's knee replacement recovery is way above target! It goes to prove that the results you get reflect what effort you put into it! I need to apply myself a bit more on the weight loss scene. My walking has become the norm now, and I am reaping stress relieving benefits and blood pressure seems happier :) as am I! I hope everyone is able to enjoy their endeavors and is making progress in any form. There are so many ways to gauge progress. Have a great day and Keep doing what works for you and try some new things along the way!

This morning's walk was a treat for the senses! There was a balmy feel to the air mixed with wood smoke and the aroma of smashed crab apples on my neighbors driveway. Fall has made its debut, but the days have still been warm and sunny. The rains last week washed away the smokey skies and life is good in Big Sky Country. The sunrise started out very pretty but gave way to some clouds. The yellow aspens seemed to be glowing with color and the red maples stole the prize for best color display. I hope all of you have a great weekend and can take time to enjoy the beauty in out lives while working so hard on our goals!

What A couple of weeks!!!! Dad turned 90 and we celebrated with friends and family and good food! Out of town guests were here and I got to enjoy my sister and lovely niece! My husband got a total right knee replacement and that is going very well. I am balancing being there for everyone and started taking care of myself better. Although I had been losing weight, I had not been working out. I started walking again and am starting back on my core training. I feel pretty darn good. Our son's wedding is in just a little over two weeks and two weeks after that, my husband gets his left knee done! HOPEFULLY, things will settle down after that! We did a lot of the property shutdown early, but there is still leaves to rake and general upkeep. Blessing to everyone out there in Fat Secret land. I hope everyday you get closer to your goals and learn a little more about yourself! Keep the faith!
