All my life, I've had a struggle with my weight.I haven't been obese, but more like plump enough to feel self conscious with how I look.
After having my first child (26 yrs ago), my weight was at it's all time high of about 86 kgs. I decided then that I had to take control. I started walking and eating sensibly, and started to lose weight. I then fell pregnant with my 2nd child. I was more sensible with my eating through that pregnancy, and didn't fair so badly. After his birth, I got back to dieting, and got down to 58kgs, the smallest I have ever been in my adult life.
10 yrs later, and my 2nd marriage, I gave birth to my 3rd child. Weight was generally stable. Between 60-75kgs.
After my mother died, I lost allot of weight without even trying (probably due to stress), and found myself once again at 58kgs. Everyone around me said that I was too skinny!
That was 4 yrs ago, and in the last 2 yrs, my weight has slowly increased again.
I've recently been diagnosed with Hypothyroid (great!)which has slowed my metabolism.
Last time I weighed myself, I was 69kgs. I'm aiming for that scale to read 65kgs (or lower, if I can).
I'm an active person. I walk every morning with my dog for at least an hour, and I try to get to "Curves" every weekday. I have my own business- I'm a Massage Therapist, which can be quite physical.
So, here I go- down the weight loss path (again).

how to measure foods
If you search for Broccoli under foods, different measurements come up. There's one for frozen broccoli and one for fresh broccoli. Measure them before you cook them.

Weight loss is stalling. What do I do?
Try filling up on vegies instead of packaged foods. Make soup. Their a much better source of carb and provide heaps of fiber to keep you regular. Also, I find drinking lots of water stops me from over eating. Good luck.
