Still at the same. At least it's not gaining, but I am really motivated to get back on the "rocker". I now have a job that is very labor intensive. I think that is really helping me gain muscle. (that is one of the reasons why I got the job). I'm really excited though that despite the pie, and the macaroni and cheese, and all of the other stuff I ate on the holiday that I didn't gain weight....why because I spent time exercising. I must admit, that is a habit that I have gained that is a benifit...well exercising period. I used to be so athletic and then I had children and it all went southward. So I really am proud of myself about that. Starting right now though...I AM ABOUT THE BUSINESS!

Well no weight loss is better than weight gained! Especially considering the week I had. This is the Marine Corp birthday week. So we had cake that if you don't eat is almost being disrepectful to all Marine who have died in combat.....nobody wants that guilt on them for the freedom sacrificed for freedom to be gained! Then the dinners and my husband's birthday was Tuesday. I didn't act a fool this week, but I wasn't on my best behavior either.
Tomorrow, we have our own tradition where we have a "candy lamp" (Marine tradition is a "smoking lamp" where you smoke a cigar until the lamp is blown out) while my husband rattle on about the history of the Marine Corp, we all eat candy. I think I'm going to put some grapes in there so I don't have to eat the candy, or I can change the tradition and we all eat grapes (that was blasphemous.....lol). I don't know, but to all Marines, including my favorite Marine (SSgt Turner......my husband) HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Enjoy your weekend (but be good too!)

This week was not really a good nutritious, calorie counting week, but a REALLY good exercise week. I'm training some of my teens for cheerleading so I had to do a LOT of demonstrating. I credit that to the decline. But I feel a good week coming on the horizon!

The one thing that is really intriguing me about myself is how I am recording everything that I eat. I really do believe that I can be successful at this because at once, I was not as successful. Using the "Points Tracker" is really forceing me to SEE my eating habits and now I can have a plan of attack. This is very interesting. So now I will use these journals to record my feelings to see patterns and how I can combat them!
Yesterday, it was evident that the teens in my youth group had some discord and I sought to seek to problem of the discord and a resolution. Yesterday was full a drama from the teens to their equally dramatic parents. Therefore, today I was thinking and praying about that all day long. Some decisions I made was good, others were not too good, but I noticed that I was doing more munching as I was thinking about the kids and what needs to be done and tactics that we should do and tactics we have done that were successful. So when I think, I need to chew some gum!
