it's been a little while. I got into a rut of self sabotage and feeling really awful about my situation and all that. my weight went up to 325 two weeks ago and I had a big cry over that (as well as other family issues going on). my fiance gave me some tough love and he's been getting me out for walks too. I'm trying to portion out my lunches better, I think they're my biggest downfall some days. they're just too large. so I've been using jars to portion out soups, salads, leftovers etc so I don't over do it. (the 500ml for soups and the 1L ones for salad with some sort of protein). today I'm at 319 and though I can't move much, the walking is helping I think. still waiting to see the surgeons to see if they will fix me.

we've been eating a lot of take out. which sucks. but I've been avoiding pop and chips and other snack foods I usually go to and just eat my 2 meals a day with IF. oh and lots and lots of water.

huge setback. I'm extremely upset. my back is screwed again and my doctor has put me off work for another month. Waiting to hear from spine surgeon which I know is going to tell me to lose weight. easier said than done when you can't fricken MOVE. Ugh! so I'm attempting the IF again and watching my food intake. trying to eat more veggies. no pop or bad munchies. very hard to do when someone else has to be up and cooking for you. we shall see what happens....got a portion plate from my dietitian to try and help. need to adjust to correct portions. keeping up with my stretches but they hurt quite a bit. walk for 20 mins and I'm toast for the rest of the day. Don't know what else to do until the pool opens again..

got some good news today! I have been cleared to go back to work! it's been a long 4 months and I cannot wait to start tomorrow! On light/modified duties but I can work! I miss my patients so much and I can't wait to get back to feeling normal. Intermittent fasting seems to be working even though I'm still eating pretty high cal. so I'll need to work on that in the next little bit.
