I didn't log yesterday because I am trying to be good on Saturdays while still allowing myself the things I don't get the rest of the week. I think next Saturday I will log in my food in my journal without putting it in my calendar and during this week I will try to not eat the crackers and salty starches that I crave - and then on saturday I will allow them without going crazy. This might be a dumb idea but it is worth a shot

I see that I am slowly eating more each day - still using more than I consume but I need to watch it. I plan on riding my bike tomorrow which will help and we don't have any social plans for the weekend so that will help too. One day at a time.

What's with me and crackers? I got home from class last night having had a great day and I fell on a sleeve of crackers- ate about half of a package. Now I realize that school nights are always a little tough so I planned ahead and wasn't even really hungry when I got home but I really wanted the damn crackers. After I ate them I felt fine - better then before I ate them, but I felt bad because it wasn't in the plan. I need to come up with a stategy to help me on nights (and days) that I don't have a regular schedule or that I am out. I seem to always want to eat starchy food when I have been out of the house longer than usual or am home late - it's like I want to mark my homecomming and relax.
