Started my first challenge today. 100 sit-ups, 100 jumping jacks - check! Hate running, but enjoy my 30 min walks the past couple of days.

Food journal and exercise went out the door this weekend. Went to a festival and party and ate all wrong and had too many ciders. Weekends will definitely be hardest for me.

Wow, keeping track of food is very eye opening. Definitely makes me more aware of everything I eat. How the hell am I going to cut 500cal a day? Should change type of yogurt I eat, that will save me 100cal.

I've gained 10 pounds over the past several months. I'm so frustrated because I'm acutally more active now that the weather is warmer. I haven't changed my eating habits - so why the sudden gain. I am starting Couch to 5K to increase my physical activity. I'm not down for some crazy diet that I'll never be able to stick to. So I am going to start a food journal and attempt to cut 500 calories a day. Healthy meals and snacks of course.
Here we go.....
First day of C25K was awful. Hubbie and kids did it with me, so I guess now it's a family affair! Only made it through 10 minutes instead of 20. I'm not going to get discouraged though. Just go at my own pace.
