After losing all the water weight my weight went up about 1.5 lbs which
I expected. I had done so well last week that I treated myself to Chinese on Friday night. Major mistake! The deep fried foods were like a lump in my stomach after all the fruits and veggies from the week before. My stomach isn't used to it any longer which is good. Also all the cravings for chocolate are gone.
I made a salad that I loved out of cole slaw mix, Newmans own fat free sesame ginger dressing, chicken breast and almonds for crunch. I could eat a gallon of it!!! It was so good! It will definitely be a permanent part of my healthy eating. I also went grocery shopping and made sure that the majority of what I purchased was fresh fruits and veggies. It was a good weekend.

Another big loss but its the beginning and I am losing water weight. My pants are fitting a little less snug and I like that. I have every intention of making my 15 lb loss by June a reality

Writing in the journal seems to help me stay focused. I had a good food day yesterday and have started my day out good. I have been able to tell that my metabolism is speeding up. I used to be able to eat and go for hours before being hungry again. Now when I eat I am hungry within an hour. Portion sizes are smaller but I do think its the exercise that is speeding up my metabolism. Would love to be able to lose 15 lbs by June. I guess that is my new goal!

I love that first few lbs that come off so easily. Now the rest of it is the hard part. I'm doing great so far and hope to stick with this and reach my goal of 15 lbs by June.

Well, I am starting all over. Have been on Fat Secret before and it really help me keep track of what was going in my mouth. Have had a really bad year. Divorce, losing job, had to sell lake home, nothing in my life has been going right and I eat to compensate for my low self esteem during the past year. I will no longer allow anyone to make me feel as bad as I did in the past year. Its up to me to make myself happy, no one else. I don't really weigh myself but took a guess for my starting weight. I am going to have an issue with this. I know I should but I get obsessed with the number on the scale. I will start weighing myself 2-3 times a day to see what the number shows. I will have to be stronger and actually weigh myself and give myself a week before weighing again. I started working out again which I like. I wish that I had a friend or someone in my life that was going thru the same thing that I could talk to about all of this. Its so hard to do this by yourself but I have no choice.
