I stepped on the scale this morning, and to my surprise it said 159.5! That means I've lost another pound and made it to the 60 pounds lost mark! Sixty. Six-zero. I still can't believe I made it here. 160 was what I told my friend Marianne would be my "absolute ideal weight" back in January of 2010. I've made it there, and then some!
I'll wait to record until the end of the week though, just in case.
Have a great day, every one! I'm gonna try my best to keep this happy mood, despite having a midterm tomorrow, and 3 papers to write! :)

Looks like I weighed in a day too early! But yay! Only half a pound from 60 pounds lost!

I was on a sweets kick this weekend. Note to self: if you decide to make a cake for someone's birthday, give them THE WHOLE THING! I tried to make a cake using a mold for my friend Steph this weekend, but greased the pan wrong and it came out ugly. I ended up making her a new one and keeping the ugly one. I ate a bunch of it, and just could not stop! But I was sure to record it and hold my self as accountable as I could (its so hard to judge quantities some times! But I'm hoping this week I won't have any issues and can start LOSING again. Can't wait to see that 60 pounds lost mark!

I did not lose any weight this week, but I did not gain either. I think I got an adequate amount of exercise in, especially at the Intel Ball I attended this weekend. I always forget how much I love dancing until there's a DJ playing the latest hits in a room full of people! I stayed within my calories for the most part, but with my pantry running low, I did not eat the BEST of foods for sure.
Last week and this week are very stressful for me as I have many assignments and midterms. I find that stress always plays a part in my weight loss, because once the stress is gone, I tend to lose weight.
On a related note, if any of you have Netflix, I suggest watching Nat Geo's "Stress: Portrait of a Killer" on instant cue. It has some really interesting studies on stress and how it relates to health and weight gain. As someone who has dealt with anxiety and stress for several years now, it makes me really want to learn how to manage the way I deal with things even better.
