Well, eating out 2x this week plus 2 BBQs this past weekend = 1 lb gain. Boo! Also, I didn't work out that much this week. The ups and downs of life! BBQs and eating out are fun but the weight gain is not.
I'm hoping that with my hubbie working a straight day job and being home every night will help as we'll all be able to sit down to a family meal. I've caught myself a few times this week having a munchie craving at 9pm and telling myself 'no, you will not fall into that trap'!

gaining 1.0 lb a week

Down, up, down, up, down! Hopefully no more 'ups'. Gotta love summer and all the fresh fruit and veggies. Then there's the BBQs and festivals! By the way, where has the summer gone? Two more weeks and it's Labour day weekend and then my son goes back to school (he'll be in grade 2).
All I can do is enjoy the warm weather and take it day by day!

losing 1.0 lb a week

Oh holidays and summer time. I guess I shouldn't complain to much. I weighed myself on Monday morning and it was 187. Oh well! What's a girl to do but try, try, try!
Hubby new job is going good. He started this past week. It's a big change for him. This week he's been starting at 8 am. Normally, he would start at 7 and leave the house at 6am before I even got up. But now he's not leaving until 7:15. And it's different having him go to work everyday and home with me every night. It will take awhile to adjust to this new way of living! I would like it better if he could start work at 7am and be home early so that our son doesn't have to be a daycare so long. But we think that will come in time.
No big plans for the weekend. We're off to help out on my parents' farm tomorrow. Then Sunday, we'll be getting together with my side of the family to celebrate my parents' anniversary (it was Aug.8 and they have been married for 58 years!) and my sister's birthday (Aug.12).
Take care everyone!

gaining 0.9 lb a week

The scale gave me 3 different readings this morning so I'm going with the reading I got yesterday morning 'cause that one makes the most sense!
I manage to run/jog 5 days this week! Eating has been ok. I've skipped on cake and cookies numerous times this week. There is so much fresh fruit in season though which I've indulged in. And I've discovered that I like avocados.
Lots going on this week. We have to get our septic system fixed. No clue how much that's going to cost. Also, we bought a small John Deere tractor this week. My son is soo happy!

I hanging in there! The weight is not moving off of me any time fast by that's life for ya! Birthdays and vacation time are to blame!
My wonderful husband got a new job. He starts on Aug. 8. It will be a big adjustment for us as it is a straight days job with weekends off. His current job is 12 hour shifts rotating days and nights and he works every other weekend. He is looking forward to the change as it is working for a winery and he will be the maintenance department. This is new for this company and they will be figuring out his role as they go!
Anyway, the weather is muggy today but I'm still hoping to get out at lunch time for a jog. Better check to see if my ipod is charge.
Have a great weekend!
