So my weight is exactly the same this week. It's frustrating but, as I mentioned in another journal entry, I think it has something to do with my AF being around this week. I do feel sort of larger and squidgy, if you know what I mean. Though, I have measured my waist and abdomen this morning and it seems I've now lost another inch around my abdomen, putting my abdominal area (m'belly) 2 inches down.

Anyway, I keep second guessing this diet, wondering if I'm consuming too much fat, wondering if I should add in even more protein, but the truth is, I'm stuffed every day - I don't know if I can eat any more protein than I already am, and the fat I've been eating (with the exception of last night's small portion of ribs) is mostly from all the peripheral stuff like cream for coffee and full fat salad dressing (which I was advised to keep in my diet). I can't fight the feeling that I'm consuming TOO much fat. I still remain in ketosis according to my keto sticks, nothing gives this week in the weight department. But here's what I'll do first:

(1) I think I'll try to up my water intake because on this front I've been rather lax lately, and I can 'feel' it. With ketosis, you gotta flush the body out and stay hydrated.

(2) I'll continue gentle exercise each day - 30 minutes a day for now (which is something I only recently picked up).

(3) I'll be sure to stay on course with respect to vitamins to supplement my diet, because that's something I've been sort of lax on.

(4) I will decrease my fat intake very slightly and increase my dark vegetable intake.

(5) I won't weigh myself for another week to see if there's been any change without adding internal negative dialogue to the situation during my week.

This will not break me. I'm keeping at it because I've still seen success at 12 pounds down, nearly 3 inches off my waist and 2 off my abs.
