I am 72, love to cook,enjoy music and reading and time with friends and family. Had open heart surgery in December and restricted breathing, so trying to get my weight down so I can become more active with less effort. My husband of 52 years (love of my life!) is on this journey with me as he has a similar amount to lose. We started adjusting our eating habits 2 months ago, and he has lost 18 lbs and I have lost 13. I have modified recipes to include more vegetables and fiber, especially soups, trying to not modify the taste, and my husband, who is kinda picky hasn't tasted the cabbage I have added to soup or the zucchini I added to chili!!! Join us on our journey. I'd love to share recipes.

DIET ?? Salad Dressing.
Found a TASTY diet salad dressing. Bolthouse Farms Lite Chunky Blue Cheese Yogurt salad dressing is just 35 calories for 2 tablespoons. Tastes like full fat. No yogurt taste. I've only tried the blue, but they make others, all 45 calories or less. Cucumber Ranch, Zesty French, Salsa Ranch, and Cilantro Avocado. Maybe others??
