I am so disgusted with this gain. Though I am pretty sure a lot of it is water. Haven't been able to get my wedding rings on for several days. I might have to talk to my doctor when I go in next month.
I am pretty excited about scoring this Hocus Pocus Lego set. My granddaughter has been building Legos since she was 4. Her favorites are Harry Potter and Jurassic Park. Problem is Legos are getting expensive. This set was almost $300! And I whined about paying $75 for the pirate ship 30 years ago. But that ship is now worth $850!
My girlfriends and I finalized our birthday celebration. I just pray that the weather holds. I did not like driving at night before my eye issues. Now I am just flat out afraid to drive in the dark.

Another little drop in weight. I haven't been logging my food intake, but have been riding my bike every day.
Celebrated hubs birthday with a barbecue. Most likely the last of the year. It's already getting cold at night and the high mountains have snow.
We are close to being ready for winter. Picked the last of the plums. We had more than we thought. So I took 5 one gallon containers to the bar to give away. I'm not doing any canning this year. I reviewed and commented on the Water Court list of objections. Water rights are so important so I am glad ours are protected.
My Rudbeckia look so nice. Too bad we're supposed to get a frost this week.

A tiny dip in weight. I've been retaining water again not getting my steps in. No excuses. Just no moving like I should.
I've had this feeling that something in my universe is off. Nothing I can put my finger on. Other than my husband is not feeling well and is just feeling old in general. He turns 72 this week and doesn't like that he has to ask the boys to come help.
I bought a flat of globe peaches and made a peach cobbler to take his mind off things. It took me longer than usual to peel and slice all those peaches. But I do have 3 gallon containers in the freezer.
Grandkids all had good first days of school.

I love this solar light my girlfriend got me as an early birthday gift. She, another girlfriend and I all turn 70 in the next three months. We've known each other for 50 years or more. We decided several years ago that we would take a trip to celebrate. First we were going to go to Greece. My girlfriend's husband's health is declining and she isn't comfortable leaving him for 3 weeks. So Greece was out of the picture. Then we were going to go to the Florida, rent a Mustang convertible and drive through the Keys. Then there was the hurricane. So that got crossed off the list. I love Halloween and none of us have spent time in Boston. So we were going to go to Salem and take in all the Halloween festivities. The other girlfriend's grandson has something going on during that time. So it was back to the drawing board. Latest idea is to just go to a spa for 3 days. Doesn't matter where we go as long as we get together. I'm just so thankful that we're all healthy enough to spend time with each other.
