I've had my ups and downs this week-
I hit the gym every day. That's a plus.
But, yesterday I had a bit of a binge on McDonalds that my mom brought home from work. I'm still angry at myself for slipping and giving into temptation, but what's done is done.
So tomorrow is Saturday and weekends are always very very dangerous for me. I always overeat to no end, and I'm scared that tomorrow's no exception. Hopefully I'm either going to the library to study, or I'm going shopping with my mom for some much needed clothes. Both will have me away from any form of food. I am so unstable at the moment. I feel like I'm nearing the end of my rope.

I'm really happy with myself today-
I got up and headed to volunteer at a book sale on campus. They had a table of cookies and volunteers were allowed to help themselves. I HAD NOT A ONE. I was so pleased, but it wasn't that hard since I had all these amazing books to keep me going.
Since I've made this pact with myself of going to the gym every time I go on campus, I picked up a few books, and headed straight to the gym. I had to lug those books from the book sale to the gym, almost across campus. Also, luging them home on the metro was tough.
I was feeling really sore from my previous workouts of the week (I'm a full time student), so I concentrated more on strength training and went easy on the cardio. I did rows for the first time, and wow is it hard! I did my other reps and a few dozen situps and called it a day. But I saw my left bicep for the first time! It's there, and it's getting stronger :) Muscle definition for the win!!!
When I get home, what do I see? Mom's making pizza, and it's honestly my favourite meal that she makes. We usually make a night of it, complete with an appetizer of caesar salad and a coke zero for a drink. I would normally go for 3 slices and ice cream for dessert. I mean, is it any wonder how I got to this weight? But tonight, I had my caesar salad but had only one slice of pizza, and get this- a banana for dessert.
As long as I can keep myself in check and not binge tonight, I'm home free. The night's still very young though....
