Feel good that I still logged a loss even though I had to take three days off from exercising. Not all my food choices were great but I did stay in my allotted calories every day which is what my plan focuses on. Eating this way is more realistic for me since I still eat the same foods as before just in moderation! I've also found some new foods I enjoy that are lower cal yet yummy so I don't feel like I am giving up all the good stuff!

My back is still sore, this horrible work chair does not help! But it is better than it was. I took 3 days off from walking and then jumped back on the treadmill. I just had to be careful to keep my back straight so I held onto the rails and didn't swing my arms. It didn't increase any pain and my back has continued to improve so that is good!

I also finally have my machine for my sleep apnea. I've used it 3 nights now and am still adjusting. I do not feel exhausted mid-day any longer but since I am not used to sleeping with the machine I know I am not sleeping as well either. I am sure I will feel even better once I adjust to it.

Hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend. I took it easy for my back while my husband did all the laundry! Love that man!

So frustrated! I've been walking on my treadmill daily for months now. But somehow I've pulled something in my back so I didn't walk yesterday to give it a day to rest. Today is just as painful, feels like a pulled muscle but it hurts constantly - not just with movement.

No idea how I pulled the back. I lifted some heavy boxes on Monday but the pain didn't hit until Tuesday afternoon so not sure if that did it or something else.

I am sticking to calorie counting but I actually felt like I was letting myself down by not walking. I will see how I feel after work today and either do a very slow, light walk or take another day off. I won't want to make things worse!

On a positive note: It is good I feel bad missing my workout because 3 months ago I would have jumped all over an excuse to take a day off!

So I actually lost 1.5 pounds last week but we bought a new digital scale and it shows a different weight than the old scale. When I went to the doctor to start this journey I told my husband that the doctor told me I weighed 6 pounds more than my scale showed. Then at a followup 6 weeks later, the same thing 6-7 pounds more than my scale showed.

I told my husband I wanted a digital scale to make tracking my weight easier. The scale I had been using was very consistent but I hate trying to see where the little line is! So we bought a weight watchers digital scale from Costco. Well, this new scale is also very consistent and seems to match my doctors scale. My husband also shows 6 pounds heavier on the new scale.

But it works well and obviously shows my old scale while consistent was off overall. So we decided to keep the new scale and this will put me on the same weight as the doctor's office.

So even though the old scale shows 195.5 which is a loss, I changed my weight here to reflect the new scale. I guess I get to celebrate breaking that 200 mark a second time.

It is depressing but at the same time it does not change the fact that I have lost 30 pounds since January! My clothes are looser and I fit into some things I have not worn in a long time. Still a long road to go but I can see visible progress so I take comfort in that.

Hope everyone had a great Easter weekend! I am determined to break this 200 mark (again) and continue on this journey! Best wishes to you all!
