Day 6

I think I was being a bit too ambitious trying to keep a daily journal here. I get caught up, too busy... I can't even eat enough calorie to maintain my ideal caloric intake. 2300 is what I'm suppose to be consuming if I am to lose weight. I have this fear that if I don't eat enough calories, my body goes “Oooh there's food ! Let's stick it all on the belly 'cuz who knows when we'll see food again.” So, I am trying very hard to eat throughout the day. An apple here, a yogurt there... I read somewhere that it's best to clear out your kitchen of all fatty stuff and replace it with healthy snacks. That way when you do eat at 11:30p, like I did today, you will at least be consuming healthy stuff. Thank you Annie for leaving your sugar snap peas at my house after today's visit :)

Day 5

First day I went to the gym in the AM before 9. Very nice and empty :) Did 20min on a cardio machine and 35mins working with weights and a Bosu ball. So 830-930 in the gym. I hope that working out this early would help create a good metabolism From 10-5, I was very sedentary. Sat on my butt in a coffee shop for most of the time working on the computer. Food wise...I think I did okay because I made healthy choices, such as ordering a veggie sandwich on whole wheat with no mayo. Old me would not have ordered the "veggie sandwich." Old me would say, "BRING ON THE BACON." Oh well...maybe I will treat myself with a slice or two after I lose 5 pounds. So healthy choices were made at the coffee shop.

Day 4

No gym for me today because there's too much errands to. Instead, I decided to work out at my "home gym." I woke up at 7:30a, popped in a Yoga AM/PM dvd, and did that for 30 mins. Then I popped in a Pilates Bar DVD and did that for an hour, which has become new favorite fitness toy :) Afterwards my workout, I had breakfast and then proceeded on with my day. I plan to work out a little more tonight home by doing some arm works. As for cardio, I am not sure how I will fit that in for today. I am hoping that I will hit my 10,000 steps from all the walking I will be doing as I am running around the city doing errands. I don't drive so I am usually running for a bus or walking to my destination. I have a little dinky dollar store pedometer, but it's missing :) Eventually, I would like to get a fancy one that measures more than my steps. Maybe the cost, 20ish?, would keep it from disappearing.
