Feeling really sad about my current weight. I have been really stressed out the past few months, switched around a couple of meds, eating way to much junk and fried food, and just ignoring myself and my fitness and nutrition as a result. I haven't weighed myself in months (I probably knew this would be the case and was avoiding it) but I was weighed yesterday at the doctor and was astonished. Even though this is the most I've ever weighed I want to stay optimistic and not beat myself up (as per usual) because then I will start emotionally eating all the things that I want to stay away from. I am making a few goals for myself for the next two weeks:
1) walk to work (this will be easy because parking is expensive and I just started a new job walking distance from my house!)
2) cut out all fried food, candy, pastries, soda and juices (unless in a very small proportion if i am having a craving)
3) drink more water!
4) ride my bike at least once a week (this should be so easy but i never do it!) i will try to make saturday or sunday the bike ride day
5) walk around the lake (3.4 miles) on sundays
6) no more whisky! less alcohol in general, i am going to try to stick to red wine.
