So, I had a little heart attack last week which put me in the hospital for a couple of days. The new cardiologist actually put me on a heart healthy nutrition therapy diet. I lost 6 pounds when I was in the hospital and 2 pounds since I've been out. I ballooned up to 321 or more pounds since Feb. My husband has since started looking at the labels on food now. I think the latest episode with my heart opened his eyes.

I have gained a lot of weight back since the last time I was on this sight. I haven't been able to work out as much since then because of all the surgeries I have. The most recent was last month (Dec 15), on my foot. I get the stitches out today and I'm hoping that I will be more pain free and able to do more exercises. I have started to do more portion control when it comes to eating.
I am a grandma now, I have a beautiful grand daughter who I babysit for. She keeps me active and I try to move and dance with her as much as possible.

I know I haven't been on in a while. I decided to concentrate on other things in my life, and just trying to stay as active as possible. I've only been sitting at my computer for maybe and hour a day (trying to get my online jewelry store up and running). According to the weather channel, it's suppose to start warming up next week so I am planning on staying outside as much as possible. I can't wait for the warmer weather.
