Well I injured my hip, thigh and back. yesterday and I am down for the count with pain. Have to get to drug store to fill scrips, so I must push through it and go in a few hours. I have my Fitbit on, and even the very light activity I have today, will eventually get me to break even of calories or a very small deficit. Not really to convened about that. A break even would be fine.
I have a medical problem that causes injury to my muscles, even without a fall or over exerting. My muscles spasm by themselves and yesterday, it got bad. I am in too much pain to drive to De. and get a cortisone shot in my hip. Using a heating pad and pain relief- helps some but muscles have to recover. My injury, although the muscles pull by themselves, is identical to an overworked athlete or injury. It is an injury without the accident!
Makes me blue, but I will be fine. My calories are in line yesterday and they will be today too. It is nice to have a problem and no longer use food to feel better. That makes this site worth more than gold!
I can walk, but every step hurts. Torso, lower back, thigh and hip went into spams yesterday. Too long of a day. Too much driving and my body can't take that. It will get better. Thanks, all, for always being here.

Back in the saddle- am doing well with keeping my calories in line and I am walking more, I now have my FitBit Flex and I love it!
I purchased a FitBit Flex. Basically, a FitBit Flex is worn on your wrist and monitors all of your movement. It then converts that into steps. The amount of steps is converted to calories burned. The FitBit does take your height, weight and age in consideration. It syncs in a jiffy to your computer, your I-phone as well as all the other popular devices you crazy kids use these days!
They have other styles that are not a wrist band, but for me, this is convenient. I love it! It motivated me right away to start walking and moving more.

Well, it is really good to be back after my dull drums binge and depression. Not real long- I am bi-polar and even though medicated, I fall off the cliff now and then. But I have a lot of ways to manage that now.
I just wanted to express my joy and gratitude today! Here I am, back on the diet and I am HAPPY. I used to fall off and go into a terrible depression. Now I just blow it off. It will happen, to the best of us.
Everyone keep going! It you bite it, write it. It works over time. I did not gain this weight in one week, I will not resolve it in one week. it is just great to be happy on the journey. Best Wishes.

HI Everyone!
My blog is on fire and I had to move it to a new address. All of the follow me buttons, message buttons, etc. work now and I was able to organize it. The recipes I have posted are tested by me and they rock!
I also have great kitchen shortcuts, diet tips, my basic plan, etc. I now have sub-categories in recipes so it is sorted out. Eventually, it will be a stunning array of low calories, low fat foods. It will take time.
Current visitors, about 300 a day, and followers, about 90. Take a stroll for a change of paceā¦its free!
