I though I found a great snack,130 calories per serving, but the container was for two servings. I would really do better if a planned my snack the night before. today I was at store buying groceries when I was really hungry, I was looking for something healthy, healthy is was but packed with calories. Not a total loss today but still I need to concentrate on the long term goal.

Today was a better day. Feeling alittle moody. I diffently like to feed my anxiety. I would like to find a substitute. Maybe singing?? I would like to visit daily hte reasons why I am choosing to lose wieght. Tonight I am going to write out some 3 by 5 cards to carry around. I'll let you know how this helps if any. Journaling keeps me in contact with my feeling and gives me a since of control. I do better on the days I keep an active log and journal, as in, doing so through out the day, instead of waiting all day and then logging.

Still counting down, this is day 12. the weekend was rough. I am not drinking enough water, and I need to up my activity level. today Is a workday, so should be easier to stay on track. Logging in everyday is a strong part of staying on track. Journaling everyday is also a strong part of the program, it helps keep you motivated and in tune what the long time goal is. This is a good place to reveiw and reinforce why getting back down to a normal wieght is important.
Over the last couple of years essentially, the last five years, during pre-menopasal activity, I have steadily gained eight to ten pounds a year. This last ten pounds,my hips have started to hurt, it is harder to get up and down. I am still fairly active, but have many things on my list to do and complete. I am to start training for a hike of Mount Michupichu. Today I am starting to wear a step pedometer. My goal today 10000 steps, 80 oz of water, 500 calories.

WOW, four pounds in four days. Unbelievable. Counting down the days is much better than counting up. I'm on day number 16. I need to stay focus over the weekend. I think that will be the challenge. Tomorrow, I will spend the day with my daughter. I am packing my food for the day.
