Hi! I'm baaaaack! again. Sigh. Up 18 pounds - but in the scheme of things I'm still down from my ultimate "high" point. (Which was really a "low" point - if you catch my drift!
So I will try, try again and see what happens. At least this time I am not taking some of the prescription drugs that caused my highest weights! So there is a light at the end of the tunnel and hopefully, it is NOT a train.... 😳
I'm a 65 year old lady, who lives alone and has restricted mobility - I could use a few friends on this journey. Stop by and say "Hi!".

Hi Everyone! Just wanted to check-in and see how everyone is doing. That wedding I've been trying to look decent for is in two weeks. I didn't get anywhere near my goal however, I have lost enough where out of all my kids' weddings, I will be at my thinnest. So I guess that's okay. And I'm continuing to lose. (At first, this was weightloss all due to my Doc taking me off a medicine that is a nasty weight-gainer) So I dropped the first 15lbs very quickly. Since then it's been steady but I have had to work on it.) My biggest wish is that I could walk for exercise. However, I am allowed on my feet only 4 hours a day - which is manageable unless you try to count steps!!! LOL

Well again - it's been awhile. I didn't have a computer for well over a month and I am way too old to try to learn how to do this on my phone (which is smarter than I am!). I did make it all the way down to 192 and then it got "stuck". Gosh I hate those stuck times! LOL I'm sure I am not alone in that!
But I got a notice that I haven't weighed in in quite some time so here I am. Only down 6 pounds but that's better than staying where I was! And I have been losing about a pound a week for a few weeks now. The big "event" is October 10th. And of course I won't be anywhere near where I'd like to be but there are positive things. This is the last wedding of my four children. (Hopefully! LOL) The baby gets married that Saturday. I am actually at my thinnest of all the weddings. Why that's important, I have no idea! I know my other goal was to be under 200 before I hit 65years old. And I made that one September 5th. So all in all --- I guess this is an optimistic entry for me. It could be a lot better, but yes, it could be a LOT WORSE!
Stay safe everyone! Please know that to some of us with immune problems that this COVID-19 is NO JOKE. It's not "just a flu", it's serious stuff with serious implications. Wear a mask to protect your loved ones - if not your loved ones, protect others' loved ones! Love & Peace!

It's amazing in a group like this just how many people seem to relate to how I feel and how many people I read that I relate to! I am so grateful!

Well I started trying again around the 1st of April when the whole Covid-19 thing really kicked in on me. I am really carb aware - but have a heck of a time giving them up! It also doesn't help that I am on Lyrica which is a BIG WEIGHT GAINING medicine. So I have been trying to wean myself off - but then I am up a lot at night in pain (diabetic neuropathy in my feet and hands). So..... but I have a family wedding in October (my "baby" is getting married) and I really don't want to be an elephant at the last family wedding. So here goes.........!
