Eggs anyone?
Meat (Red) on the other hand would come with its own set of problems as it would have a decent fat content in it. So it would be important that one chooses lean meat or chicken for the required protein intake. Very Very imp to measure what you eat to get the best results out of your fitness program.

Eggs anyone?
I think eggs are a huge source of protein and zero cholesterol provided if you only have the albumin and not the yolk. If one has the whole egg, then probably even 2 eggs a day would create issues like bloated stomach, gastric troubles etc. But if you just have the egg white, be it boiled or in any other form, even 10 eggs wont hurt at all. I am following Insanity Fitness program and it demands higher energy levels which should be supplemented through the right proportion of proteins, carbs and even fats. if one is on a 2500 Calorie diet per day, then one should require roughly 1000 calories through protein and the rest through fats and carbs. 1000 calories would be equal to almost 250 gm of protein since 1 gm of protein = 4 calories. and to ingest 250 gm of protein, one can always have atleast 10 egg whites per day which should cover 40 gm of protein in this plan. And really if one has just the egg white part of it, its very light and digested very very quickly.
