Hi
Thank you for the encouraging and kind comments, Im still figuring out how to respond and use this site to it's fullest potential.
Today I rejoined and updated my accurate weight on Atkins Community. I'm going to use Atkins as a guide to keep me on track. I enjoy their recipes, it is a low carb diet that I followed w success before.
I hope to get a printer to work to print the recipes. Today I made a chicken breast dinner w a tarragon creme sauce. Major yum. I also found a chocolate slush smoothie recipe that I'm going to make tomorrow. It's recommended to put it in ice cube trays and take out enough to make a smoothie. I'll let you know how that is.
My weight says 156.8, but currently it's 188. I gained quite a bit of weight over two years. I'm trying to refocus on losing and not beating myself up too much.
I do get great support here and w my family. I didn't exercise today, def need to tomorrow. I did count the little bit of housework to the calorie burn. Have a good night.
155 will suit me fine

Hi
I haven't been on for two years. We had a family tragedy and from my review of my last entries, I never returned. Then my PC got a bad virus, now fixed, I seem to be tapping in to good energy. I actually forgot about my FatSecret journal. Sorry, no offense. The situation w me, is it looks like two years ago I was a few pounds to goal. That's the beauty of writing things down. Now I'm back up tipping 189. My goal is to be where I was two years ago. 155 will suit me fine. That's my motto.
My original goal was 148. wanted to hit that 40 mark. I remember being super thrilled, like crying thrill w joy when the scale finally tip into the 160's.
Im going to have to do it all over again, but this time I'll remember the joy and especially the feeling of being in shape! I can throw every excuse in the book why I allowed myself to gain 40 lbs over two years, but I'm not going to. I gained a good 12 just in the last 6 weeks. I broke my foot and have been eating Lindt chocolates and corn toritas chips w salsa. Not a good thing. My foot is much better, time to get moving again. Its super disappointing that ALL my reward svelte clothes are now in a box unable to wear. I do have a friend that wasn't around when I was working so diligently at weight lose and exercise. She keeps reminding me I look so good now. I try to explain the hard work and dedication and now the need to shed pounds and get into the best condition manageable. She encourages compliance. I bring this up, only as to declar that is my obstacle. Otherwise, she is a good friend. So here I am, hoping to report in everyday w my progress. Wins, and how I had a resolve to take the better choice. I'll update my weight today.
155 will suit me fine.

Hi. I haven't been on lately. Hope you are doing well. I lost a bit more. I'm doing my own diet this week and maybe for the rest of my weight lost. I do better if I bounce around w diets. This week watching calories w emphasis of low and good carbs. Honestly, this way I can have a bite of chocolate and it won't entirely ruin my resolve or day. :D
My big focus has been doing exercise. I'm in my 7th week of P90X. It's an intense workout. I've modified my routine immensely. BUT !!! This past week have managed to stay up w the AB routine. I also was able to jump! Ok, I jumped 1/2 inch off the floor, but I did jump!!!
Tanning has helped my self esteem as well. I stand in this cubicle for say 7 minutes. I use that time to visualize my goals.
I am almost out of pants that fit. Finally accepting the fact I do not need or want super baggy pants. I've been donating my clothes to a goodwill type place. Now my drawers have room for new clothes. YAY!
Good luck!
To our svelte success!

39/81 til eval

Today I'm at the weight that is recorded. ( I had gained a bit during my time-out and now it's safe to maintain and note).
P90x ultra modified...Do your best, forget the rest! is my motto. I have such a heavy heart regarding my nephew and am dealing w some heavy duty medical things w my daughter. We are survivors and will get through this! I am thankful to exercise everyday.( Although, to you, it might actually look like a whole lotta struggling. lol) It keeps my blood pumping and mind clear during that time. endorphins is a beautiful thing. :D
Always best to go to the positive. Focus on the goal ,look into the future.
I'm looking good. I've worked hard to get to this place. Been through some major shit this passed decade.
Physically, I want my flabby arms toned. My core tight. Going to do my best, and forget the rest!

To our svelte success!

Leslie
