Happy Tuesday. Got my last medium-length run in yesterday and now just need to do 2 or 3 miles a couple days this week. The run is Sunday and then I will hit the diet hard again.
My mom, daughter, granddaughter and I went to local safari park yesterday. It has been here for several years but it was my first visit. Mom walked all over that place, up hills and on rough trails. She lost weight a year ago and went from barely walking to being Awesomely healthy. She is a great example of someone who changed their live through healthy eating. My husband is another. He, too, lost weight last year. He lost about 30 pounds and was able to quit taking his blood pressure and cholesteral medicines.

I love all the features on this site although my favorites are the community and blog on FS. But at least for awhile I am not going to use the food and exercise tracker. I will use the trackers on my IFIT wristband.

Two of my daughters surprised me... and after much research, we three bought IFIT fitness trackers. (Thanks, all, who messaged me about fitbits, and other wearables.) Anyway - excited to not only have a tracker, but have family members among which we can challenge each other. My husband plans to get one, too, but doesn't want a wrist band, so wants to do a bit more research. I am SO EXCITED.

Happy weekend, everyone!
Next week is the half-marathon, Water to Wine in Sonoma. My goal this week is light, easy, short runs and to simply maintain weight. I will need all the energy I can muster for that run. I will resume losing weight next week!
As August is filled with family events, I believe my goal for September 1st will be 134. That is 6 pounds in 4 weeks. And 130 by September 15th.
Today is busy. Two large Elm trees in front yard have Dutch Elm disease plus four other smaller trees also need to come down. A baby shower at 2 and company for dinner at 6:30. And as no dust fairies showed up over night to clean the house I had better get back at it.

My goal was to be in the 130s by August 1st. I missed it by 8/10 of a pound. And I'm "ok" with that! In fact, I am really, really happy. Thanks, FS, for helping me get back to "me".
