Almost complete loss of appetite?
So it's almost been about 2 months since I've gone vegetarian/cut out all excess sugars, junk food etc.....eating completely clean. I've lost over 20lbs, but now Ive noticed something that has me worried.

My appetite is nearly all but gone......I was a guy who could down ANYTHING, even when I was bored. But now I struggle to finish 1/3 cup of oatmeal in the morning for breakfast? I'm throwing food out left and right now?

I eat till I'm satisfied and whenever I'm hungry, but is it normal for such a drastic appetite loss to happen when losing weight?

Should I force myself to eat more? I don't want my body to go into starvation mode and start storing all the food I eat?

opinions???

I need advice PLEASE (Longish read but please help!!!)
So about a month ago I became a vegetarian and so far I'm loving it! I also cut out all excess sugars, and don't add any sugar/salt to things I make. I am currently drinking 4-5 bottles of water a day and usually a Gatorade when I go cycling.

Before I changed my lifestyle, I would drink soda all day long, eat a package of oreos in 2-3 days, etc. I was the type of person that would just eat when I was bored.

Now the question is: What can I do to increase weight loss?

I started this lifestyle change at 204 on April 7th, and now a month later and I'm only 189. I'm getting ready to leave for college and I would like to be near my goal of 160.

I cycle 15.5 miles five days a week normally.

I've been trying to have a high fiber diet as well.....whole grain bread, flax seed meal in whatever I cook, etc.

A normal day I eat the following:

Breakfast- 2 slices of double fiber whole grain toast w/ a banana or grapes and a bottle water.

Snack- (any of the following) Cliff bar, lara bar, or some snacks I get monthly from Naturebox.

Dinner- (any of the following) Veggie wrap, veggie burger, salad, black beans, etc. (sometimes I make a home made pizza and if I splurge on the weekends I'll have a veggie burrito from chipotle).

I started using Cardio Cuts to help me push myself on the workout but I'm not noticing much of a difference.

I admit I don't normally eat a lot during the day, but I've noticed it seems like I need a large calorie deficit to lose any weight.

Now I've plateaued at 189

Advice PLEASE!

HELP. What am I doing wrong??
Hey guys thanks for the quick response!!

As for my food intake, I don't really keep track of it too much. But I'll give tell you what a normal day of eating is for me!

Breakfast: Whole Wheat toast (W/extra fiber) with almond butter, grapes or banana, 10oz Bolthouse Daily Greens.

Lunch: (Since I'm at school lunch isn't much of an option normally) So I usually have a Larabar and some raw sliced almonds or walnuts.

Dinner: I'll make a veggie wrap (lettuce, onion, sprouts, tomatoes, lots of baby spinach....and one slice of cheese).

After I go cycling if I get hungry again, I'll make a smoothie (no added sugars. Just fruit, veggies, flax seed, walnuts and a little bit of almond milk).

***I don't always eat dinner first before cycling. It just depends on the weather.

HELP. What am I doing wrong??
So about 12 days ago I went complete vegetarian, I also decided to cut out all excess sugars (sodas, junk food, coffee sweeteners, etc)..

About four days in I lost 5lbs, and I started to exercise.

But now I can seem to lose anymore??? I'm drinking plenty of water and I'm eating completely clean.

I usually go cycling, about 7.5 miles a day.

I could really use some advice here before I get discouraged..

Thanks!
