I lost almost 2 lbs this week. Sometimes I got tempted to eat more than I should but I often was able to get back on track the next meal. I think I did pretty well. My seems to be getting used now on eating less than I used to.

I have lost a lot of weight last year due to gall stones which made me unable to take in food without throwing up. I had my gall bladder removed and after a few months I settled into a new diet. A small bowl of oatmeal in the morning, a cup of rice and usually fish with veggies during lunch and an early light dinner. I was able to keep the pounds off. In August, I got sick again, this time pneumonia. I lost another 6 to 8 lbs. I was back to my weight before I came to the US 7 years ago. However, after just 9 months of mindless munching, I got to my current weight, from 129 - 147. Some friends and coworkers asked me one day, "Are you pregnant?" I said, No, why?. Oh I thought you are, a friend of mine replied. That was a wake up call. For almost a a week now, I made some changes to my diet and promised myself, I will be more active. I''ve been keeping my word so far, but sometimes, it is a little difficult when you' re on your own.
