I missed another journal yesterday but spent some time last night reading others'. You guys are the best!

I had a good calorie day. Lots of cuddling on the couch. I'm still drinking too much alcohol. I'm not doing enough heart pumping workouts but I'm keeping up with my butt exercises and abs. Mostly lunges, squats, and low side-steps. It hurts like hell and I'm not seeing an observable change yet in the back but my belly is getting flatter. My side abs are tight as hell, but the middle is still jiggly. I know the only answer to that is to lose more fat. Overall, I'm so pleased with my body transformation but I want more! I'm blessed with good health, thank God! I don't take it for granted, never will. But I want a tight body. I have 2 years before I hit my forties and I want to be in the best shape of my life by then. Lofty goal? maybe. Shallow? maybe.

I'll record my official weigh in on Sunday, which is the eve of our beach vacation. We leave for Myrtle Beach Monday morning and I'd like to have an accurate number for before and after. My plan is to restrict calories for breakfast and lunch. This will be easy because our room has a mini-kitchen. Dinner might be a problem though. We'll undoubtedly hit a restaurant every night. I hope I'll be strong. I hope I can harness my willpower. I'm going to do my best to journal and log everything.

If I'm not around, I'll be thinking of you guys.

Oh my Gosh! Des laughed out loud through the whole Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie last night. Honestly, I thought people would complain he was so loud! I swear, when he laughs like that I think, "this must be what God sounds like," so beautiful. Hubby is home which is awesome, but it always takes us a couple of days to get back into the swing of things after a long absence. It used to really bother me but I guess this is just our way.

I've been counting calories and measuring serving sizes but I'm off my routine. Tomorrow is my official weigh in day and it'll likely show no change over the last two weeks. I had gone up and down a few pounds, here and there, but ultimately I have only maintained my new weight. I guess I'm okay with that. Better than gaining, for sure! I haven't seen 169 in at least 6 years, so I'm happy that I'm holding steady.

I missed my journal the other day and before I fell asleep, I was thinking about my buddies. I wondered if DairyFarmersWife had the baby; how ChrisComedy slept; whether snezica keeps pushing herself to workout; Draglist, wholefoodnut, christyla, taic69, c67241, classicrocker, dreamcatcher, tulipgirl, fullabella, who Eddie is starting trouble with, and more... just can't think of em right now. Oh, I'm sure I'm forgetting many of you who keep me inspired. Sorry. Thank you.
