Day 42
"Everything in your life is a reflection of a choice you have made. If you want a different result, make a different choice".
In the past, the week I've just had would most definitely have resulted in a weight gain. (Redundancy notification & dreadful period) and yet, I confidently stood on the scales this morning and weighed in feeling good that today is a new day, that I have survived the last week.
Food will always be a love of mine and but the relationship I have with it is changing. I make different choices around it, I plan better and as a result my journey is less bumpy.
After writing this entry, I'm off outside for a decent walk in the fresh air, to exercise and also to allow myself time to clear my head. I feel good.

Day 33
“Once you start to see results, it becomes an addiction...."
Small but clearly noticeable changes:
My rings seem looser.
Friends/Colleagues have commenting that my face looks thinner and that my complexion seems brighter.
I also KNOW I have experienced fewer mood swings in the last fortnight.
These things make it easier to turn away from previous temptations and you know what, it feels good to be in control.

Day 31
"If you don't make the time to work on creating the life you want, you're eventually going to be forced to spend a lot of time dealing with a life you don't want."
What I have come to realise in my journey so far, all 4 weeks of it, is that when I focus on only one day at a time, I find everything more manageable. Planning is more straightforward. Organising is easier and nothing plays heavily on my mind.
As each day comes to a close, I spend a few moments before I sleep identifying what made the day positive and as I travel further along on my journey, I am finding this an easier task to complete.
There are always going to be hurdles in the way, circumstances that create a few moments of slight worry but I am now feeling more confident to manage those. I now also accept that sometimes simply going with the flow is okay and that although my journey is slower than I might want. The end result will be the same and this time, I know I will reach my goal.
