Too many holiday dinners and whatevers! Just after Christmas I weighed in at 188.4; new years, 186.6; yesterday 187.5 ! I'm using a withings wi-fi scale at home. Now I need to add more fiber and grains to my diet. Still leaving off the heavy starches and sugars.

The weather cancelled the "MOVE" class I am attending, but, so, and anyway I asked the nurse to weigh me on a different scale. I don't entirely trust her scale, but I like the result it showed! In fact, on her scale I dropped from 207 to 199. Since I like 199 lbs, I am recording it. Now I will say that I am re-starting my dieting beginning today with 199lb.

This is my first journal entry, and I am new with My FatSecret. I've been attemting to lose weight by calorie counting, but all I accomplished was my eating better and counting calories. In one year I lost about 25 lbs. Without changing much more than the amount of pasta I ate, between July 18 and when I last weighed in, Oct 9, I have gained 7lbs of that weight back. I visit the nurse every 3 wks (not for weight)and I'm due to go this Tues. That is when I'll truely say I'm starting again!
My goal is 175 lbs. My plan is to attain a ballance between calories, net carbs, protiens and fat. I might even throw in some exerise!
