Whewww...I really had a hard time this weekend. It was cold, snowing and sleeting so I went right back down to my hibernation mode. Seven month long Winters are not good!
I made poor food choices in my craving for carbs...thankfully I do not overeat...I just get defiant and choose a bagel, a slice of banana bread (which my DH buys at the local bakery!)or pizza when out with friends last night!
I do not know what the hell I am thinking - I do not lose when I eat carbs from the baked goods, bread, yeast and wheat family! Calories do not matter - it is QUALITY of what I eat - not quantity.
Quality
over quantity is most important!
Let's rock it together!

Argh... a few of those nasty carbs have crept back into the diet! Started with a few pretzels...and led to two small pieces of a small pizza yesterday...dang it!
Ah Hello - maybe it is the damned SNOW - yes, it is snowing! Feels like WINTER and time for carb-loading again...

Whewww...I just completed a four day long intensive training! It was great, and if I complete the cycle of training for this treatment modality, I will do three intensives per year for three consecutive years. WOO HOO...
So, the coolest part is that it is a body-focused process for helping people reduce traumatic events - usually accidents, violence, abuse, etc.
The body conscious approach is GREAT for checking in about the experience of hunger and appetite.
People tend to label many many things as "hunger" when it may be other physical and emotional impulses. So, each time I think I am "hungry", I check all areas of my body to see what else may be happening inside.
I ate very well during the training since I brought all my own food = I had too many calories - but the quality all was good.
I am enthused and hopeful.
