Crud, & DOUBLE CRUD! Too much Mommy's Day merriment, & I'm back up to 249.2! Upside is that I'm still (barely) below 250, & I think some of that is water weight that should come back off easily. Also, oldest DD & I had our monthly grocery shopping trip yesterday, & she took me to Si Casa Flores for lunch. As a Mom's Day treat I ordered a seafood chimichanga. It was delicious, but I was a bit disappointed because the yummy sauce they topped it with completely obliterated the crispness of the chimi, which I was looking forward to. Must remember to request any sauces on the side when ordering crispy foods. Then I can also control how much sauce I use, which is also good. I'm sure that yummy chimi largely accounts for the drastic weight gain. along with too many tortilla chips & dip. I'm telling myself that this is no biggy, I'll return to eating right & lose it again & more besides in the next week or 2. On to more good news. On my grocery shopping, we first went to the "Outreach Foods" store, a discount market with excellent deals that have helps us to save a lot on groceries. We finished our grocery shopping at Walmart. The total amount I spent at both stores was EXACTLY the amount of my monthly food budget! To the penny, & I didn't track how much I spent at the 1st store, to know my limit at Walmart, it just worked out that way. As George Peppard used to say in the old "A Team" TV series, "I love it when a plan comes together", LOL!

Hello Everyone, I hope you are all doing well & enjoying health & weight loss success. I haven't been on here in quite awhile, due to having computer & monitor problems, being busy with water therapy, & other life & health issues. I've dislocated my left shoulder twice in the last month & a half or so, & now it keeps "sublaxing" (painful displacement, but not quite dislocating), even while doing simple things like getting dressed or beating eggs. Xrays showed nothing is broken, but the muscles & tissues were injured, & the arthritis is so bad they plan to replace my shoulder joint anyway. Dr appts & tests for this are keeping us busy, as well as my water therapy twice a week at the YMCA, which is helping with both weight loss & whole body joint strength & flexibility. I am really starting to feel stronger & better, & that is encouraging. My insurance denied my Dr's request for an MRI on my shoulder, so we're working on resolving that issue. Supposedly my Dr didn't give the insurance enough info to approve the MRI. Stupid red tape! I'm still losing weight, very S-L-O-W-L-Y, but this is still good, as I know I can keep it off once I'm finally down to where I need to be. We are going to be on vacation next week, but when we return I'll try to be more regular in my FS communications. I truly appreciate all the encouragement & fellowship we share on FS, & have missed my regular visits with you all. My SIL worked on my computer a bit, but it still has some problems, we just don't quite know what they are. I did figure out that my monitor's ON-OFF switch has a short or something, & if I wiggle it back & forth a little the picture usually will appear. Computers, gotta love em, LOL!
