I don't know whats up with the fluctuations - it's not the Time Of The Month because I am on the depo shot. So... who knows. I have been avoiding the scale, and I am just thankful that it is not in the 170s. It's funny because I just got out of the shower so my hair is wet... and I am thinking that I might have to spend some time in the ladies room soon, so perhaps that number would actually be a little bit lower if all those extra things weren't a factor.
Yeah. Let's pretend that those little things are responsible for 30 lbs of extra weight. Mmmm. Yep. Let's go with that.

I have not done well following this diet at all. I'm really kind of dissapointed in myself because I succeeded before. I was able to get through Phase One with only a slight bump in the road (run-in with an Oreo Cakester). I was so excited to finally be able to focus on this diet and losing some more weight, and I blew it this week.
I know the huge fluctuation in weight (166 to 169) is probably the normal everyday ups and downs... there is no way I ate enough to gain 3 pounds in 5 days. I've been using too much salt, so I am thinking that has a hand in it.
I need to do some soul searching today and decide that I am not going to waste this month. I am going to recommit and DO THIS because I am dog tired of being ashamed to wear a tank top, or feel like I have to suck in my belly whenever I go out.
It needs to stop. And I am the ONLY one that can change it.

Today has been ok
Breakfast
egg white omelette with sauteed peppers mushrooms and onions
Lunch
Salad
Dinner
Bowl of vegetarian chili (I was sooo not into it tonight)
Now I just have to stay focused and not do any night time eating.

I started again on Phase One on Tuesday 6/3/08 so I am technically in day 3. It has been tough. The first night I gave into temptation - I was craving sweets so bad and tried eating some fruit. I had a vanilla ice cream bar instead. Yesterday I was VERY good. Probably didn't eat enough or drink enough water, but I didn't eat anything that is not on the plan. YAY.
This morning I had an egg white omelette with sauteed onions mushrooms and peppers. By far my favorite breakfast.
I am looking forward to having *hopefully* the same amount of success as my last try with Fat Smash. I lost 12 lbs in Phase One and have kept it off. So... onward to my goal weight!
