I've been off the dieting wagon for a while and I have an extra 10 pounds to show for it. But I'm starting over today before I let my weight get any more out of hand. I have a lot off stress in my life right now and I know if I don't start taking better care of myself then it will only get worse. I work full time as a massage therapist. You would think that it would be a very stress free job, but it's not. It is very seasonal. Right now during summer it is very slow. Worrying about how I'm going to pay my bills when it's this slow is generating stress in my life. I also work at a spa that is having a lot of internal issues with keeping front desk and managers. Just going to work and having that around me is stressful. I'm also in school full time studying computer programming. I have industry certification exams that I have to take every once in a while. On of the perks with my work being slow is that I have time to study, which is nice. My boyfriend and I have been having some problems lately. He isn't working and I've been paying his bills. I put a stop to that the other week so now he is looking for work. That relieved some financial stress, but now I feel guilty for not helping him out. Sometimes I feel that I just can't win.
On the plus side I've started a boot camp in the mornings 3 days a week. I feel very good about that. I have to get up at 5am for it but honestly I kind of like it. Once I get up and moving I am able to do a lot more with my day. That and I get a good workout in. I think with the workout and this site helping me stick to a sensible eating plan, I should reach my goal weight before ya know it. I'm optimistic. :)
