So my doctors appointment today was very depressing..... Baby is good. 16 weeks yesterday but my weight it very bad.... I have added another 10lbs or so. I am only 10lbs from where I was at delivery with my first so my chances of staying at or below are slim to none since I still have another 23 weeks or so to go. I have decided I need to go back to counting calories so I am at least aware of what I am putting in my mouth. I am also going to attempt to cut out (at least down) the grains... We'll see how that goes. It seems to be all I want to eat lately. On the upside, I got the results of my Maternity21 tests on Monday. We will be having a healthy baby GIRL in March! My husband is ready to jump off the local bridge. We are also putting in an offer on a house today. Gonna need a lot more room with the new addition.

Well, I didn't get as much sleep this weekend as I had hoped. We were out far too late on Saturday... I did get a nap in before hand but that lead to only about 7 1/2 hours sleep Saturday night/Sunday morning. A good friend of mine and her two adorable munchkins came over on Sunday and we swam. Although I did spend a lot of quality time with my couch, I wasn't sleeping most of the time. I went to sleep at 8 and slept ok until my alarm went off at 4. By the time I got to work at 5:30am I was ready for a nap. I just called and made my first 2 appointments with OB. My intake is this Wednesday afternoon and then my appointment with the doctor is Friday morning. That is when we confirm dating, I hope. I think I am 9 weeks today. Not everyone believes me, but I was tracking my dates because we were trying. That puts me due the middle of February. Got on the scale this morning and although I am slightly up from Saturday (half a pound), Monday's are usually my highest day of the week. Been sitting here snacking on left over tri-tip from dinner last night and have already eaten part of my breakfast. Just gotta make sure it's good things and so far so good.

I PIGGED OUT YESTERDAY. Gluten Free went out the window. I had a huge Cobb salad at lunch, complete with the delicious bread that came with it. I had a small piece of maple bacon cake, a slightly larger piece of zucchini cake then hubby and I split half a pint of Chunky Monkey, which is almost my all time favorite ice cream. I passed out on the couch somewhere around 8.... not sure of the exact time but it was the 3rd inning of the Giant's game.

Slept on the couch till midnight when hubby went to bed then slept until 7am when someone decided it was time to eat... don't know if it was me or the little berry inside me. Hopped on the scale when I got out of bed and viola! I am down another pound... like I said, I am not dieting, just trying to eat healthier. I think I had 2300 calories yesterday. I am hoping this keeps up. I have already been feeling like a stuffed sausage in my clothes and the more I can slim down in the areas aside from my belly, the longer it is before I have to invest in maternity clothes. I would really, really love to stay right at or under 200 at delivery time but that may be wishful thinking. Anywho... I have some work to be done before I start cleaning the house. Got a lot I want to get done today before we meet my BFF for trivia and Salt and Vinegar fries... and I am sure I am going to need a nap at some point.
