Today was not as great, I slept in instead of going to the gym, because I was REALLY tired and couldn't figure out why. Sometimes when I start feeling really tired it's because I'm getting sick, so I decided to just sleep. I will go on Thursday morning. I did okay with diet choices today, got started with things a bit late, but tomorrow is a new day in the plan. When I weighed this morning I weighed 3 pounds less than yesterday... which was odd, but awesome.

Starting anew today. I have to remember that every day is a different day and not beat myself up over not making it. Today I did awesome, I didn't follow my original meal plan, but rolled with the punches and made good choices! Now I'm making dinner and prepping to go to the gym in the morning!

So the New Year coming was important, but the new semester starting, tops that in every way. Monday will be the first day of classes, and my first full complete day back at my own apartment. I have been gone for three weeks, and before I left the fridge was empty of everything but condiments. I'm excited to go home and put healthy stuff in it. I have made a meal plan for the first week, and with that an awesome grocery list to go with it. I have been scouring pinterest.com for awesome ideas and inspirations. I have found instructions for freezing smoothie ingredients in baggies for a week's supply for morning smoothies. I'm really excited about it for breakfast. I can get up, throw it in the blender, and bounce out to the gym, I'm pretty excited about it.
My goals for the new semester are:
1. Lose 10 pounds by late February (I'm more excited about building lean muscle)
2. Floss every day (last year I had my first cavity, root canal, they found another cavity) So I plan to floss, brush twice daily and use a good mouth wash!
3. Go to the gym every other day. It helps me manage the stress of school and stuff and helps me sleep better.
4. Drink more water. A hydrated body is a better body.
5. Eat better. More fruits and vegetables, less carbs. I don't expect a complete change, there will still be yumminess, but just healthier yumminess.
I even bought awesome star stickers to go on my calendar when I do a good job... corny I know, but it motivates me.
