I have been missing in action for a bit, or should I say inaction? Losing your job does wreck havoc on one's diet a bit. Feeling sorry for myself time is over and when I'm not searching for a new position, I am making time for myself. I can usually be found at the gym spinning, lifting weights and at home on my treadmill. As you can see the pounds are creeping up again but I'm not upset because I just went down substantially as I peaked at my highest weight yet. I'm down about 14 lbs from a few months ago and I am NEVER going back. I have to get a handle on this and maintain a healthier weight. The problem that I keep trying to wrap my brain around is that I really do feel like my eating for the most part is very good and God knows that I work out more than most. I think genetics plays a big part with me and I have to be especially careful. The days that I choose to eat the wrong foods send me into a tailspin. I will commit to logging into my food journal, as it will keep my eyes open and myself on the right track. I missed all of you and I feel I need support as much as I ever did. It sure is nice to see that a lot of you are still here. Best wishes to everyone! I'm ready to take on some brand new challenges. Chat with you soon!

Hi everyone!
I miss chatting with all of you...
My work has been especially demanding...(I love it!)...I don't have as much free time as I did previously...My brother just moved down from Pa (last night) which I'm thrilled about and I'm preparing for company later this week...Lots to get ready :) Hope everyone is achieving their goals and doing well! My scales is consistently going down...Sloooow but steady :) I'm finally in the 140's which is a huge success for me! It feels like an eternity that I was stuck in the 150's...There are some days that I feel really sluggish...Wish I knew of a way to not feel that way anymore...I'm not ready to give up the caffeine this week...It's my one guilty pleasure that I love! Honestly, I'm not an addict and I really can give it up effortlessly...Not this week though! Lol...I buy a delicious organic coffee from the health food store and add some stevia and organic creamer...I'm sure that the tired feeling is from not being as hydrated as I should be...I'll work on that...
Anyway, it's all very good and my mindset is strong!
By the way...We have a new addition to the family...A new bearded dragon...His name is Dante...(Hmmmm...the name = Well, he's a bearded dragon and he's not supposed to be here...giggle...All of you Clerk fans know what I mean...hahahaha) He's really cute and personable...I'm glad he's here...In fact I'm extremely grateful of all the blessings I have in my life...For all of the good people I deal with everyday, the nice friends I've met here, my family, my rewarding job and all of the opportunities I'm finding...I'm truly grateful...
