Ate too much last night -- 2 suppers: Half a chile relleno with my sick elderly friend... and a goat cheese-pear-walnut-arugula salad, bread, and red wine with Mr C. At least I didn't get dessert. We had grits, fried egg, bacon, and toast with jelly for breakfast this morning. I feel bloated, so I need to cut back on quantities.

Had enough energy yesterday to finish cleaning the top floor of our house. Now I need to clean downstairs and get my paperwork in order. I have tons of business files and tax papers to straighten up.

Mr C has been cranky since his doc took him off andogel cold turkey. I am concerned that it's not safe to do that.
218.2 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 68.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

It is probably the toast and grits that bloat you - grains do that to me.

That salad with pears and walnuts sounds great. I am going to put that on my menu for the week.
