What exactly are you eating?? When I eat healthy food I do not gain weight, sometimes it's because of stupid diets, the app recommended me 1700 calories per day but I eat between 1200-1500 calories

Hi thanks for the response, I am trying to record every thing I eat for 30 days, I started may 1. Sometimes I eat mostly meat, veg, fruit, once a week I eat bread or the like.

My suggestions...weigh/measure every single thing that goes in, get rid of sugar. If you are gaining weight, unless you have other health issues, you are eating too much....

sometimes its just a matter of looking bac thru your food menu when you were dropping weight...an tweaking the food menu back to what you was eating or looking back at the food your eating now an tweaking that food for better numbers with a different choice in food...keeping a food menu is what helps me track my food intake better...

If you're logging consistently and have at least 2 weeks worth of FatSecret data then consider showing your healthcare team. Your family physician or nutritionist/dietician can work in conjunction with your pharmacist to tweak your eating plan based on your current health condition. From there, Jane, it's a matter of enjoyable exercise on a regular basis.

I ride my bike, swim and work out at a gym, I would say i exercise everyday sometimes an hour, but at least 15 minutes. I am thinking it is my age they say our body changes every 7 years. this is the 7th year since I started gaining weight. Before I was exercising and didn't have a lot of extra weight. If I gained weight it was very little and easily gotten rid of. thanks for everyone suggestions

2 pounds a week is also get unreasonable, 2 pounds a month on a proper caloric defisate is good. you should start paying attention to your macro molecules if you aren't already, also if you're starving yourself your body will go into survival mode and store more fat, another possible thing is you're eating too much and you need to cut 400 calories or so. workouts shouldn't last more than an hour without small whole wheat or fruit snacks throughout it or your blood sugar will drop and your body will want to store more fat. make sure you're eating your lean body mass in protein, 1/3 of it in fat, and meet your calorie requirement in healthy carbs from bananas,Apple's whole wheat bread (no enriched wheat flour) etc.

Ak Alex so loosing weight is much harder to do as we get older, but gaining weight at 10 pounds a month is how the body works?

JUST a thought..most people that start off on some sort of a plan learn what they can an cant eat..where as if your on your own plan..you might not be as strict with eating the right foods..for me low carb high fat works..for someone else..eating differently works for them ..we all eat differently..we all have physicial activities differently..we all are different ages..it all makes a difference...i for one dont eat like i did 20 years ago..even though i ride a road bike 15-20 miles some days...i dont burn it off like i once did..so therefore the days i dont ride...i dont eat as much..its learning what your body will burn..to keep you going so you dont bonk out an be tired all day...
