Well, I tried EVERYTHING for it. I was a runner and determined to get back to running. I had custom orthotics, cortisone shots in both feet, physical therapy, acupuncture, night boot and at-home stretches over the course of 2 years. While I found that all of these things helped - every time I attempted to run it came back. I finally gave up running and am 100% healed as long as I wear footwear with good support. I can do other exercises too without a lot of jumping. I recommend this stretching device - FootSmart SmartFlexx Stretching Device (on amazon). It really helps. Good luck.

Oh and never go barefoot. For lounging around the house, get some slippers with solid soles.

I tried everything, and the last resort was cortisone shots. Well, that cured it 100% after 2 shots. That was about 4 years ago and haven't had a problem with it since!

I use orthotics that fit in your shoe. I had them custom made. They can be expensive, but the pain stopped.
