Hi everyone,
I was able to do my fast - I did 31 hours b/c I needed to eat breakfast before my workout so I didn't get sick. That worked out well - I didn't need to eat after the workout and my blood sugar is 126 without meds. I will still take the metphormin - until I start getting under 100 I will take it. I am hoping the fasting will get that blood sugar down!

I will be packing tonight to go on the road for a week. I have to think about what I need for next week to ensure that I have a positive experience with food and I stay on plan. Since I won't be working out with weights, I will be walking. I want to do 2 miles a day so that I can get in shape for my upcoming 5K walk.

Plan is fast: Sat, Mon, Wed, Fri. It is only 3x a week, not every other day.

I don't know what the heck they did to the mobile app but they really screwed it up. I do software development and testing for a living and I can't stand the app updates. It's almost impossible to use.

Shelly, take care of yourself. That's a lot of fasting. Eat when you need to (I know you will). You are doing an amazing job! Radically changing your health and life.! I'm impressed!

Thanks for all of your comments, Buddies. I will watch myself and if I dont feel well I will definitrly eat. Blood sugar is hanging at 112. I must be a glutton for punishment bc I am watching Iron Chef America while I fast. LOL

I actually do better exercising on an empty stomach. I've varied time and foods...but do best in the morning with nothing to eat, and I do a 1-1 1/2 hour six days a week. If I even eat toast or oatmeal 20 before exercise my performance drops by 10-20%
