Mistybenner's Journal, 08 September 2016

Lost my drive for muscles and health. Back to smoking too. Went 60 days without any so I can quit again. My schedule was thrown off and has taken me awhile to get things straight again. Kids back in school so my days are back to just me n FIL. Stopped eating tonight at 7:30, so going for a 24HR water fast for tomorrow. All the junk is out of the house except for pop tarts which I'm over for awhile and a box cake w icing that needs made. Oh and some ice cream and stuff in freezer that I won't touch. Played catch w dh and DD this evening. I miss my definition, I got flabby quick. At least I know what to do and not to do (excuses!!) hope to stick around again for the rest of the year. Key west in 56 days :-) My DD is settled so I am going to start focusing on myself again.

I like your pic HCB. Warren I will keep trying. I really thought I'd be up 143-145 when I got on the scale again but only up a couple lbs. I think getting sick for a week brought me down now I have to start over but better than not starting again at all. Like I said no more excuses ;-)

Maybe you just need to vary your activities. You've got this. Don't quit quitting. Literally took me at least 11 or 12 times. Possibly more. Brake my record. Sixty days is good. See how long you can go next time.

I feel ya girl.. I have been so mia this past few months. I got thrown off with school, lots of stress at work and figuring out my health issues. Dont worry, we are human and all fall somewhere. Its where we get back up that makes us stronger. You will get back into your normal habits. :) your progress is so amazing. Just look back at your progress and you should re-motivate yourself. You can do it!

Thanks :-) I kept my old size 10s so I thought they'd be snug again when u put them on yesterday but no, they still fall right off me I'm doing food on my water fast today, haven't done one for a long time so good to know I can make it a day without over eating. And I made my quinoa cups for the next four days. Dh signed us up for lap swim so we will do that with the youngest tonight. Even though he lied and said she's 18 she's only 15 so they'll probably kick her out. Why must he lie like that I can't stand it but she does need the exercise bless her heart. She is overweight and is just starting to want to lose. It's part of my stress, helping my 230lb 15 year old without stressing her out. Oh God help us. She just moved in with me after being gone for three years with her father. She's been doing great this time round and like I said she's trying to nix the little things like ketchup and snacking late at night. She hasn't gained any since being here so that progress imo, oh the struggle is real. We r hoping for 30 lbs gone in four months. She can be in onederland for New Years.

Is it possible you are expecting "all or nothing" from yourself? As though you expect perfection or it doesn't count? You are doing OK, just do what you can and move ahead.

Yes I do, I put so much pressure on myself and feel terrible when I go off course then I'm like hello who's making these goals anyway? Duh... One day at a time... Like I said with my daughter I'm like putting myself aside and focus on giving her all my attention but I can do both!! I just need a little self pep talk sometimes ;-)

So Misty, I think it is wonderful, she is back with you. You can help her with her diet. Kids just love fast food. It is tough, but you need to keep on her in a friendly way about her diet. Hopefully, try and do many different activities with her.

Thanks Warren. We just got back from our lap swim, 32 laps tonight. She also likes to go with us to throw the ball at the park she has a good arm and my dh loves to coach us with grounders and pretend pop ups I'm glad she's back and tell her that everyday :-)
