TXSnowman's Journal, 21 April 2016

The last week of tax season was incredible. Long hours, lots of stress, awful food choices and little sleep. But that's behind me now. Back on plan, eating well and getting back to exercise. My home internet has been out since Tuesday, so I can only read and post journal entries when I come to the office (Thursdays) until it gets fixed. My left knee is screaming for a knee replacement, but I'm going to try to hold off until next year, if I can. It pretty much aches all of the time and throbs about half of the time. The main issue is that I can't take NSAIDS. I may call my doctor and ask for a vicodin prescription. I'm less than two weeks away from my month-long road trip with the travel trailer. Really looking forward to the trip. First week camping with just me and the dog. Second week with my son and his family preparing for the big wedding. Third week with my wife and two of my grandchildren (1 and 3 yrs old) seeing the sights. Fourth week with my wife and the dog, camping our way back home.
I hope all of my FS buddies have a wonderful rest of the week and an enjoyable weekend.

I agree about the tax season cheat. Found it extremely difficult to follow the plan fully grateful I didn't gain weight but should have lost more! I hope all gets better for you soon! Hang in there! Get the knee done sooner rather than later, you'll really feel the difference!

Whatever you did going off plan I think you did pretty good, hung right in there with your weight and still in the blue. It's good the bulk of stress is behind now, enjoy the road trip when it comes.
