Motivated's Journal, 14 October 2007

Day 40 of 2nd six wks, 140.6 (oops), body fat 35.7, tbw 44.3%, visc fat 7/0, musc mass 85.8/2, bone mass 4.6lb, 2039/50. 65 min level 6 ellipticle, keto trace.

Breakfast 2 slices smoked turkey with 2 slices bread and butter pickles (sugar free!!!), diet coke, coffee w half and half, lunch grilled chicken salad, glass chardonnay, dinner (very, very late) cobb salad, 2 glasses chardonnay. (I guess 3 glasses in one day results in wt gain :)

OK--I think I have arrived on my next 6wk goal. Surprisingly, it isn't a weight loss goal. Since I have 5 lbs to go to goal, I should take advantage of the situation. I'm actually needing to buy new clothes with every 5lb and I am not in a great hurry to buy more. I feel and look fine but think it would be easier to maintain if I loose a bit more. I will but I'm not in a hurry. I have already incorporated exersize into my life. I have incorporated daily weighing so that I use the information to help me vs punish me. I am clear what wine does to my weight loss efforts and make choices around that.

So my goal--6 wks until Thanksgiving. I will continue to exersize, continue to weigh and record daily, set a maintain under 140 goal, and begin to use trade offs to arrive at that 'maintain' magic combination. Perhaps it is wine OR ice cream OR a slice of bread. I don't know. It will be fun to explore. The 'slice of bread' might be the scarier since it may bring on cravings. I have avoided bread for that reason. I may or may not include it in my trade off. The adventure begins on Tuesday (Day 1 of 3rd 6 weeks)
140.6 lb Lost so far: 18.2 lb.    Still to go: 5.6 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
