I've done bad. I got hooked on soda again but am determined to have victory. I got a treadmill the other day so I've excited about getting down and doing some serious walking. I started juicing the other day. My mom gave me a magic bullet she had a few months ago but I didn't even look at it much. Didn't have directions but looked it up today and I'm excited about using it in the morning. I want to get all the veggie and fruits in my juices even the pulp, fiber. Whoever reads this if you have any smoothie recipe ideas that would be appreciated.

I use a couple of dates, chia seeds, bananas, spinach & spirulina and a few drops of vanilla. It has a vivid green colour but is delicious. Use a little water or almond milk to get it to your preferred thickness.

For smoothies, I use frozen: banana pieces, strawberries and blue berries, Greek yogurt plain , liquid can be juice, milk almond milk water etc.. if I am working out I add in protein powder to give it a protein boost or I sometimes add in raw egg yolks to boost the fat content, add in some ground flax seed and blend until smooth, the bananas will make it very thick almost like soft serve ice cream.

Sounds good. I tried kale in the Magic bullet. Kale is NOT good for smoothies lol. It was too chunkie still though I drank/ate half of it. So I tried spinach and it was better. I eat a Flax see muffin in the morning to help get about half my fiber in the day but putting it in a smootie doesn't sound too bad. I usually put it in pancake mix, oatmeal and breads I make. Do you use frozen banana's??
