TXSnowman's Journal, 01 February 2016

First weigh-in of February. Unchanged from 5 days ago, but that's ok. I lost exactly 10 lb in January. So, I'm on track to my goal. Crazy hours at work officially started Thursday. I'll be working until 9 or 10 every night for the next few weeks and I've been getting up and doing my 4 mile walk with the dog at just past sunrise so that I can get to the office earlier. However, I think that I've got it under control this year. I added another CPA so, with me, we have four staff members to prepare taxes and I hired three assistants to handle the office duties. After mid-February, I'll be able to slow down and catch my breath. At that time, I need to start doing P-90 and target my upper body and core. I know that I say that every year, but I really mean it this time...LOL. I hope all y'all have a wonderful week!

Frankie, I was lost for many months myself. I re-started at the beginning of September and with the constant support of my FS buddies, I'm back on track. Best wishes with your new plan!

You've done great and have lost weight very steadily. 5 days of no weight change is no big deal, could even be your body needs some adjustment time. Plus stress from work pressures could contribute.

Thanks jmb. Yep, I think that my cortisol levels are probably up. I'm hoping that more weight training and using some power poses will raise the testosterone levels and reduce the cortisol. However, I'm not sweating (pun intended) the plateau. I'm really shocked that this is the first plateau since I re-started my weight loss at the beginning of September. The stress at work will begin to ease by late February and be gone completely by mid-April. Then its back to camping, hiking and scuba diving. Hard to be stressed then...lol.
