so no gain this week.. which Im super surprised but pleasantly happy. i managed to get my 5 days of work outs last week. Not super high intensity but great work outs each and every one. This week will be a short one at the gym as well bc Saturday is my work Xmas party. I really really really want to stay low carb this week bc I would love to have a "flat" stomach for my new jeans but I know it takes more than a week.. but i can still wish LOL..
I kinda hate to admit but I feel like I've thrown in the towel since its already December. I'm kinda in that mindset of " what the heck" . I haven't necessarily quit, no not at all, I just don't feel that much pressure to be low carb hardcore. I will still actively do my best to stay on track and I really want to get back into ketosis but I'm not gonna sweat it if I don't. Its been along time since I've actually looked forward to a social event..and I plan on enjoying myself.. Does anyone feel this way ? Is it the holidays that do it to us? Why is it so easy to just give in after so long? Maybe its bc I'm burned out?
Hope everyone had a great weekend and has a great week!

Enjoy the Christmas party and don't beat yourself up! But don't let 1 day derail your journey. Have fun, but Sunday morning it's back on track. You've got this!

Do one afternoon/evening per week of high carbs....keeps your sanity, keeps you on track, and you'll still lose weight.

Whatever you want to call your mindset, you did great over Thanksgiving so great job there. We have to be careful for sure over the holiday season, if we just throw caution to the wind it can undo weeks of hard work. However it's important to enjoy the time and especially the special occasions such as the party you have coming up. So my input is to enjoy it, and do what you feel you need to do in order to be able to do that. For me that's usually preparing myself ahead of time by limiting calories/indulgences and then enjoying the moment hopefully with SOME moderation in mind. Then adjust as needed.

You just take your time to get your mindset back, babe. Then, saddle up and ride baby ride. This isn't your first rodeo, you now what to do (when you get ready).

I overslept today and I think that, and all the carbage I had is making me "foggy". I think a few days of detoxing and Ill "reset" my mindset lol.. Im aiming on getting my mojo back...

You'll be fine 😎 You have tons of motivation and determination. We all get blah some days. I think a change to routine often triggers that, but you know what makes you feel good, so back to it!
