Find it within yourself to resist the temptation to step on the scale, that's an evil little device that should only be used when you know it's going to say something nice!

I say it's something you're having a reaction to. I've found through my journey that I can have one bite of sugar and swell 7lbs over night. I also have a reaction to fructose and wheat (including flour breaders). I think I may also be allergic to MSG's and dairy. The Bulletproof Diet supposedly is going to help me figure the rest of my kryptonites out. Just pay attention to what you eat and how you feel afterwards and even the next day. Good luck in finding what works for you! :)

@philmck Thanks. It's not really a temptation, I just want to record it so I can remember. If the diet journal had a better interface on my phone, I'd record everything I eat also, it's just so tedious to order something at a hole in the wall and then break it all down by ingredient. Then finding the right version of lettuce that has 1 cup chopped units and so forth. If it was going down consistently even by a tenth of a pound a day, I'd be ok. At this point though its so variable I feel like there is some magic bullet I am missing, but it must be really obscure. @BulletProof3 I agree, but I'm at a loss to guess what. I have already removed sugar, flour, starch and artificial sweeteners from my diet. (Artificial sweeteners have been gone for over a year now) This includes even things like gravy because of the cornstarch used to thicken. The only carbs I have anymore are in deli meats, sausages, cheeses, salad vegetables, onions and mushrooms. I drink my coffee black and my iced tea unsweetened with a wedge of lemon (the only fruit in my diet besides tomatoes, but I swear they are still vegetables) I'm thinking of dropping veggies for a week and going strictly meat and cheese. Then I'll drop cheese if that doesn't work.

Nice plan! I hope it works for you! Personally, I'd bet on the cheese and processed meats. Good luck & best wishes! :)
