I am just ounces away from the 30's! I am very pleased with the progress I'm seeing, and I hope to be close to the next ten by race day on the 17th of September. When I weighed at the gym this morning, it appeared to read 139.5, but my buddy Mr. Publix scale was steadfast at 140... it was afternoon by then so I decided just to play it safe and record the higher reading, I will get there soon! Tomorrow I'm hitting the street for my cardio... it is a walk only day on my schedule but I'm going to do a bit of jogging too. I am going to walk across a nearby bridge and back weather permitting, it is a high rise bridge and will give a good challenge, plus it's a beautiful view of the Indian River!

I thank all of my fs buddies for the great input and support... I look forward to coming here each day to keep track of my progress and to share and learn. I was thinking about an old saying this morning, that "Birds of a Feather Flock Together", and I think this very true! We are all on a mission to improve our health and improve our lives, and that is a powerful motivator to me.

I guess you could also add to that old saying that depending on the flock you are with, they can add strength to your wings allowing you to soar higher and higher, or they can cause you to lose hope and sink rapidly to the bottom. I think I am definitely getting my fair share of flight support here! LOL.

Studio work today, along with grocery shopping this afternoon. I got some good bargains at Publix and made a good dinner of grilled pork chops, roasted potato and salad. I also marinated and grilled a top round aka London Broil; sliced it thin and that will be dinner tomorrow plus sandwiches.

Well not much else going on in wonderland... I hope everyone has a great Thursday and thanks again for cheering me along!

Wow.... Hopefully I will be able to whoop, whoop when you reach that magic 30... Have a good walk...I looked up the Mayo clinic 5k schedule - looks good :-). I was going to go for a run/jog this morning, but have aqua fit in about an hour.... I find it hard not to get "obsessive" about doing stuff.... I think I need to be careful, not to do to much and strain my muscles.... I will see how I feel this afternoon.... May do the garden instead, I will see what the Weather brings. :-)
