kinda pissed at the number. Really trying hard to get to 125 again - so close and yet so far! Time to adjust my attitude, I guess.

128.0 lb Lost so far: 47.0 lb.    Still to go: 3.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 0.3 lb a week

You know, 2 pounds is really nothing to let get in your head. Maybe it's time you start setting your expectations to how you are feeling physically instead of what the stupid scale says. You have come so far to let this get to you. You know you can do it. You already have. Congrats.

Hi Bren, thanks. Seems like forever since I've seen 125 and under, though. I'll keep plugging away and yes, attitude adjustments are GOOD! lol... (in this case, necessary!) Having a good Tues., hope you are, as well!

Hi kmartin - long time, no hear! Oh, trust me, I know a couple of pounds isn't worth getting to me like that. It's more that I haven't been able to get back to that point in months now, other than a "fake" weight right after fasting. What's kind of funny is I just had a journal entry a few days ago about weight and the scale and is it REALLY just a number? And what I've decided is no, it's not "just" a number. Let me explain - when you've reached whatever number it is on the scale and you've done so through hard exercise and eating good, healthy food, and you like the way you look ... then the number IS important as it IS a reflection of how you look (and feel). At least, that's my take on it, for whatever that's worth! lol...

I totally agree! I totally think the #'s ARE important. For me anyway. You will get down to 125 before you know it. You have done such a GREAT job!

Hi Strawberri! Ah, glad you get it. I'm always so afraid when I make comments that I come across way too strong and just end up putting people off. Just hope I didn't piss off kmartin. Not my intention, I just thought it was funny as I'd just had a journal entry about that very thing. And thanks, too. I think any and all of us here willing to do whatever it takes to get healthy are doing a great job. This is no cakewalk, that's for sure. Hell, in fact, it's a lot like aging - not for the weak! :D Hope all is going well with you today.
