Back on Mounjaro as of Friday. Hysterectomy recovery is slow. There was a lot of scar tissue and the surgery took twice as long as expected. I wasn't prepared for the amount of pain I'm in. I've had 3 c- sections and a laparascopic gallbladder removal but that pain was minor compared to this. It is getting better, though. I'm being appropriately lazy and my family is waiting on me hand and foot.

Met with a fantastic nutritionist via Zoom yesterday. She was encouraging and positive. No body shaming, no judgment on using Mounjaro. Definitely recommend Nourish. She is wanting me to eat 1500-1800 calories a day. (I know I need more, it's just hard) Says the protein goal of 100g is great, and goal of less than 100 carbs is good. Gave me some good ideas for easy meals and substitutions that I hadn't thought of.

Back to logging today! Setting a goal of 1200 calories. Pleased with being this close to my previous weight already. I had given myself a week post surgery to get back to 225, so I'm almost there with 2 days to go. Let's get back to it!
226.0 lb Lost so far: 34.0 lb.    Still to go: 66.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
